The successful candidates will attend a two-day training course at Trinity College of Music on 21st & 22nd May. This will consist of:

- Introduction to India and the WAM Foundation from Sir Rob Young, former High Commissioner to India

- Talk on involvement of British Council and safety issues from Rod Pryde, Regional Director of British Council for India & Sri Lanka

- Presentation from Esme Anderson and Duncan Ward of their teaching experience in Kerala in 2006

- Coaching session with Nadia Lasserson on piano teaching

- Interactive musicianship workshop

- Talk on health advice in India from Dr Soli Contractor

- Briefing on specific arrangements and practical details from Michael Maslinski
